Ford Interlocking Pattern

Chapter 4: Table of Contents

Ford Interlocking Pattern

The Ford interlocking pattern is very similar to the simple continuous pattern however before taking the next bite the needle is passed through the previous suture loop to engage it and pulled gently. The pattern is ended by forming a separate loop at the end of the incision, which is used to knot the free end of suture.
